Tehran calls Israeli strikes 'grave war crime'

British police have arrested six men on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following an incident near the Iranian embassy in London, authorities said in a statement on Friday.

"Six men have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm – they remain in police custody," police said in a statement.

Local media reported the arrests took place at a protest against the Iranian leadership.

Police did not link the arrests to the Iranian embassy, but said they took place on Prince’s Gate in London, which is where the embassy is located.

"Two men were treated for injuries at the scene and have been taken to hospital for further treatment by the London Ambulance Service.

“Police have cordoned off the area while initial investigations take place.”

Iran has launched a fresh wave of missile attacks targeting Israel, Iranian state media reported on Friday.

The Israeli military confirmed it had detected the launches from Iranian territory and said air defense systems were actively engaged in intercepting the incoming threats.

Israeli media says initial reports indicate missile impacts in Tel Aviv, the Negev and Haifa.

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva said on Friday that the country’s military campaign in Iran would continue until its objectives are met, as diplomatic efforts intensify in Europe over Iran’s nuclear program.

“We haven’t yet fulfilled our goals so we are continuing our military operation in Iran,” the ambassador said ahead of high-level talks involving European foreign ministers and Iranian officials.

He added that Israel expects European powers to demand a full rollback of Iran’s nuclear activities during the negotiations.

Ahmad Alamolhoda, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s representative in Iran’s northeastern province of Khorasan Razavi, said on Friday that Iranians should not be alarmed by the deaths of commanders, nuclear program officials, or the loss of social assets.

“The enemy wants to frighten us through psychological and military operations. Fear leads to weakness, but the people have not wavered,” he said during Friday prayers sermons.

Echoing Khamenei’s recent remarks delivered from a bunker, Alamolhoda called on citizens to continue their normal lives.

“Why should we evacuate cities? That’s exactly what the enemy wants—to disrupt your daily lives so you abandon the field,” he said.

Tehran is prepared to discuss limitations on uranium enrichment but will "undoubtedly reject" any proposal for zero enrichment, particularly in light of ongoing Israeli military strikes, Reuters reported.

Citing a senior Iranian official, the report said Iran is awaiting a concrete initiative from the E3 (France, Germany, and the UK) on the nuclear issue and emphasized that the role of European powers is now more crucial, as Tehran is not willing to engage directly with the United States under current circumstances.
