'Good versus evil is forever': Iran attack advocate Levin praises strikes

Jun 22, 2025, 04:12 GMT+1

"There were a handful of us who encouraged this night, who said that we need to take military action to bring about this result. It's not so much that we convinced President Trump, he knew what to do," Conservative talk show host Mark Levin said.

"He instinctively knows what to do. He's a brilliant, brilliant man," said Levin, an influential media figure who is close to Trump and had publicly advocated for US attacks.

"There is a right and wrong when you're talking about a free democracy in Israel, and you're talking about Islamist death cult that Iran was," Levin added.

"The enemy is never dead. These people never stop. This is what I try to tell do you talk about forever wars? Good versus evil is forever."

“President Trump inscribed his name in golden letters in the history book,” Israeli foreign minister Gideon Saar said on Sunday after a US attack on Iran.

“He will be remembered forever as a true friend of the Jewish people and the state of Israel," he posted on X.

“There is one individual without whom this would not have come to fruition: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,” he added.

NASA fire system detects significant heat-generating event near Fordow

Jun 22, 2025, 03:40 GMT+1

The NASA fire information system detected a significant heat-generating event near the Fordow nuclear facility, The New York Times reported.

"One detection was about 30 minutes before President Trump announced the US strikes."

Areas that experience bombing or generate intense heat—such as from prolonged fires—are often detectable. Satellite sensors can also register events like wildfires or industrial operations. However, no such activity has been observed near Fordow in the past month, the report said.

Trump says future attacks on Iran will be far greater if no peace agreed

Jun 22, 2025, 03:20 GMT+1

US President Donald Trump declared the American strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites a spectacular success, warning of far greater attacks to come if Tehran refuses peace.

"Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world's number one state sponsor of terror," US President Donald Trump said in his speech at the White House.

"Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated."

"Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier," Trump added.

"If peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill, most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes."

"I want to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. We worked as a team like perhaps no team has ever worked before, and we have gone a long way to erasing this horrible threat to Israel," Trump continued.

"God bless the Middle East. God bless Israel and God bless you, America. Thank you very much."
