Israeli air bases hit in retaliatory strikes, Revolutionary Guards say

Revolutionary Guards' Aerospace Force targeted Israeli air bases used in attacks on Iranian territory, said the IRGC on Tuesday.

"The strikes were part of a planned response to Israel’s brazen aggression,” read the statement.

The IRGC said that the attacks would continue in a “sustained, multilayered, and gradual” fashion.

Iran was very close to obtaining a nuclear weapon, President Donald Trump said, directly contradicting Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s assessment that Tehran is not pursuing one.

Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump dismissed Gabbard’s testimony to Congress and aligned himself with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s view.

Gabbard had told lawmakers that Iran’s nuclear weapons program ended in 2003 and has not been restarted.

Israel’s foreign ministry questions Iran internet blackout

Israel’s foreign ministry criticized Iran’s internet restrictions amid ongoing conflict.

“Isn’t cutting off the Iranian people’s internet a violation of freedom of expression?” it wrote in Farsi on X.

The statement follows widespread reports of connectivity issues and isolation from international data.

On Tuesday , monitoring group NetBlocks confirmed a significant drop in internet traffic across Iran.

Israel won't end Iran campaign without striking Fordow, top security official says

Israel’s campaign against Iran will not conclude without damaging the deeply buried Fordo enrichment facility, National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi said Tuesday.

“The plan is blue and white, including all elements of the offensive,” he told Channel 12, emphasizing the operation is Israeli-led.

Hanegbi said Israel is in constant contact with Washington, but is not pressing the US to join the strikes.

Speaking at the G7 summit in Canada, Macron urged US President Donald Trump to spearhead renewed diplomacy with Tehran, saying, “We need the United States of America to bring everyone back around the table.”

Macron added he believes Trump supports a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
