A small number of ballistic missiles were launched from Iran late Tuesday, triggering air raid sirens across northern Israel, Israeli officials said.
The country’s emergency medical service reported no immediate injuries or urban impacts. The IDF said most missiles were intercepted by air defenses.
Multiple explosions were reported near Chitgar Lake, west of Tehran late Tuesday, according to a message sent to Iran International.
Another resident reported continuous air defense fire and blasts in Shiraz.
A broad wave of strikes targeting several surface-to-surface missile launch and storage sites in Isfahan are concluded, Israeli army said.
Earlier, the military spokesman confirmed Israeli warplanes were flying over the city.
Th recent internet disruptions were caused by major cyberattacks, Iran’s cyber police said.
Access had been nearly impossible for hours, a Tehran resident told Iran International. The police said the outages were not part of a shift to a national intranet and promised service would be restored within hours.

An explosion struck Pirouzi Street around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a Tehran resident told Iran International .
The eyewitness, who shared video footage, said, “I think the target was one of the military bases located on this street.”
