Shamkhani: Khuzestan detainees will be released if they do not commit a crime

Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, wrote on Twitter that security forces had been ordered to immediately release detainees of the Khuzestan protests "who had not committed any criminal acts." He also wrote: "People do not allow internal problems to become a platform for dissent."
